A Revamped Gmail Layout Has Been Finally Unveiled by Google

Gmail users are well acquainted with the crowded the interface can get. Google appears to agree, since a new interface will be accessible to all users on February 8, 2022. At that point, a pop-up should appear in the bottom corner of your inbox inviting you to switch to the new UI. The mail, chat, spaces, and meet sections are now separated into easy-to-find tabs on the left side of the inbox. These components are crowded into the same column in the present UI, making it impossible to see any dense information. The chat, places, and meet sections were first included in a Gmail upgrade last April.
