The Divers watches could not be wound or adjusted from the inside, and the method was problematic because it required unscrewing the casing so often that it wore out quickly. But it worked so well that it continued to be used even until 1926 when Rolex introduced the Oyster casing as a far more refined and technically advanced approach to water resistance.
