Pathology is the study of the structure and function of the cells, tissues, and organs which cause diseases or injury and their underlying effects. It is a branch of medicine that combines the basic sciences with clinical medicine. In pathology for undergraduates, you study the changes inside our body that occur either due to a disease or resulting from a syndrome. It is a subject in which you must understand the process and not just memorize by heart, like memorizing drug names. So to study pathology, the knowledge of the basic sciences like anatomy, histology, etc. is a must.
