The rocker's arm is a vital part of the engine & when it falls off causes serious damage to the engine. It is a common problem with the engine of a car. The cause of rocker arm falling off could be oil starvation. This occurs when there is insufficient oil in the system for lubrication and cooling. The lack of oil will result in metal-on-metal contact which can cause wear on the rocker arm and other parts as well. Another cause could be worn out or damaged bearings on the crankshaft or camshafts where they are attached to the cylinder head. Some of the common reasons are inadequate lubrication, improper installation, Overheating, Rocker arm shaft failure & Impact damage.
