45-year-old bridge on Mahisagar river in Vadodara collapsed

Gambhira Bridge on Mahisagar River connecting Vadodara and Anand districts of Gujarat suddenly collapsed on Wednesday morning. At the time of the accident, there was heavy traffic on the bridge and many vehicles were passing over it. As soon as the bridge collapsed, two trucks, a Bolero, a pickup and other vehicles fell into the river. So far two people have died in this tragic accident, while three others have been rescued.
