All of us are surprised at how many phone calls, text messages, and video calls we have received during the period of lockdown resulting from the COVID-19. People are now connecting with their old pals, with whom they haven’t communicated in years. Prior to the pandemic, the number of people regularly working from home remained in single digit (5%). But now, according to a new MIT report, 34.1% of Americans have switched to working from home by the first week of April 2020.
