All of us are surprised at how many phone calls, text messages, and video calls we have received during the period of lockdown resulting from the COVID-19. People are now connecting with their old pals, with whom they haven�t communicated in years. Prior to the pandemic, the number of people regularly working from home remained in single digit (5%). But now, according to a new MIT report, 34.1% of Americans have switched to working from home by the first week of April 2020.
