If your washing machine smells musty, no need to worry. Using lemon juice is an effective way of musty smell removal. You can rub the lemon juice generously on the inside of the washing machine drum, leave it on for a few minutes and then run a cycle with just water to clean out the juice. Lemon juice has antibacterial properties which can help remove the musty odour.
