Even though there are several coffee types in today's modern world, the history of coffee cultivation dates back many millennia to the old coffee forests on the Ethiopian plateau. According to folklore, a goat herder Kaldi initially discovered the treasured beans. As word spread more quickly to the east, coffee made its way to the Arabian Peninsula and started a voyage that would eventually take these beans around the world.
