According to the number of openings for positions like Assistant Medical Officer in the Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services, Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways, Junior Scale Posts in the Central Health Services, etc., the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) administers the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMS). The computer-based exam and the personality test are the first two steps in the UPSC CMS procedure.
