Sri Lanka Cricket announce postponement of Lanka Premier League 2022 with immediate effect

The Sri Lankan cricket board, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Sunday announced the postponement of the third edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) with immediate effect. The board announced the news with a statement on their website which revealed that it has been done at the request of the tournament?s rights holders. Notably, LPL 2022 was scheduled to be held between 1 and 21 August.
