Nathaniel Vinje, DO, was educated locally. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in mathematics from St. Leo University where he graduated with honors. He received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, and completed his residency in internal medicine specialties at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida, where he served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. Dr. Vinje also pursued a traditional rotating internship at St. Petersburg General Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). While at Wellington Regional Medical Center, he was chairman of the Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Committee from 2014 ? 2015. He also served on some other committees within the hospital. Dr. Vinje is married with two children. For fun, he enjoys do it yourself projects.
