A three-year, full-time undergraduate programme is required for a BSc in anaesthesia. A minimum grade point average of 45% in the 12th grade is required to enrol in this course. The student must be knowledgeable in biology, chemistry, and physics. For admission to this course at most universities, an entrance exam is required. Furthermore, the cost of the course is high. To avoid last-minute difficulties with fee payment, one should also consider the costs of anaesthetic courses. After taking this degree, one has the opportunity to work at large hospitals like AIIMS and Apollo.
