Mobile clear colorless liquid with a pungent odor. Flash point 124°F. Denser than water and insoluble in water. Hence sinks in water. Vapors are heavier than air. A skin irritant. Bromobenzene is the simplest member of the class of bromobenzenes, that is benzene in which a single hydrogen has been substituted by a bromine. A liquid at room temperature (m.p. -30?; b.p.760 156?), it is used as a solvent, particularly for large-scale crystallisations, and for the introduction of phenyl groups in organic synthesis. It has a role as a non-polar solvent, a hepatotoxic agent and a mouse metabolite. It is a member of bromobenzenes, a bromoarene and a volatile organic compound.

The expanding consumer electronics sector along with the increasing prevalence of device miniaturization trends is augmenting the market for silicon wafers. IMARC Group expects the market to reach US$ 15.2 Billion by 2028, exhibiting a growth rate (CAGR) of 4.3% during 2023-2028.
Bromates, inorganic, n.o.s. is a colorless to light colored solid. Slightly soluble in water and denser than water. Contact may cause irritation to skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. May be toxic by ingestion. Used to make other chemicals. Bromate is a bromine oxoanion and a monovalent inorganic anion. It is a conjugate base of a bromic acid. Negative ions or salts derived from bromic acid, HBrO3.
Ammonium nitrite, [NH4]NO2, is the ammonium salt of nitrous acid. It is not used in pure isolated form since it is highly unstable and decomposes into water and nitrogen, even at room temperature. Ammonium nitrite forms naturally in the air and can be prepared by the absorption of equal parts nitrogen dioxide and nitric oxide in aqueous ammonia. It can also be synthesized by oxidizing ammonia with ozone or hydrogen peroxide, or in a precipitation reaction of barium or lead nitrite with ammonium sulfate, or silver nitrite with ammonium chloride, or ammonium perchlorate with potassium nitrite. The precipitate is filtered off and the solution concentrated. It forms colorless crystals which are soluble in water.

Fertilizers are of utmost importance to the modern agricultural industry. Their use greatly increases crop yields and food production from farms that would otherwise be unprofitable. Today, fertilizers make farming possible on land that’s too small or hilly to grow crops without them.
Boric acid, more specifically orthoboric acid, is a compound of boron, oxygen, and hydrogen with formula B(OH)3. It may also be called hydrogen borate or boracic acid. It is usually encountered as colorless crystals or a white powder, that dissolves in water, and occurs in nature as the mineral sassolite. It is a weak acid that yields various borate anions and salts, and can react with alcohols to form borate esters. Boric acid is often used as an antiseptic, insecticide, flame retardant, neutron absorber, or precursor to other boron compounds. The term "boric acid" is also used generically for any oxoacid of boron, such as metaboric acid HBO2 and tetraboric acid H2B4O7.
