About Riverview Camp For Girls

Riverview Camp for Girls is a residential Christian summer camp for girls ages 6-16 located atop Lookout Mountain in Mentone, Alabama, nestled in a bend of Little River. The camp offers over 20 activities including English and Western horseback riding, a ropes course, climbing tower, zip line, heated swimming pool, river swimming, canoeing, archery, arts and crafts, gymnastics, dance, chorus, drama, tennis, basketball, soccer, and more. One-week and two-week sessions are available from late May through July. The campus also hosts Mother-Daughter weekends, youth retreats, and team-building events year-round. Owned and operated by Susan and Larry Hooks since 1997, Riverview has been a camp for children since 1926.
