Norwood Auto Service is a family-owned auto repair shop located in the Norwood Park neighborhood of Chicago, proudly serving local drivers since 1988. Founded by Fred Scheidt after more than 20 years of hands-on experience at the same location, the shop has built a reputation for honest auto repair, accurate diagnostics, and dependable service. In 2025, ownership passed to Fred’s son, Erik Scheidt, who continues the family tradition with over 20 years of experience in brake repair, suspension, alignments, tire service, oil changes, and preventative maintenance.
