We are a family-run, locally owned team, holding Lic #451348C and Level 2 ASP accreditation on the Ausgrid network, fully insured and AS/NZS 3000 compliant. Our work covers switchboard upgrades, safety switch (RCD) installation, power points, LED lighting and downlights, ceiling fans, fault-finding and repairs, smoke alarm testing, full and partial house rewiring, EV chargers, and Level 2 service mains, metering and consumer mains upgrades done in-house. Telarah's history makes this a genuine specialty. This established railway suburb, once called Homeville, carries plenty of aged housing stock, including around 220 timber homes trucked to the 'Lionsville' area after the catastrophic 1955 Hunter flood. Many of those pre-war and post-war cottages along streets like Junction Street and Railway Parade still run ceramic fuse switchboards that predate modern circuit protection, and older places can hide perished rubber or early VIR wiring due for rewiring. Plenty were never retrofitted with RCDs on every circuit. As those homes on the low-lying floodplain get renovated, switchboard upgrades to current standards are a regular job for us, alongside cooling upgrades for hot inland summers above 35 degrees.
