Electrician Long Jetty is the family-run, locally owned electrical team for this relaxed lakeside village known for its jetty, sunsets and revived strip of vintage shops and cafes. Level 2 ASP accredited on Ausgrid and holding Lic #451348C, we are fully insured and AS/NZS 3000 compliant across general electrical, switchboard upgrades, safety switches, power points, LED lighting, ceiling fans, fault-finding, smoke alarms, rewiring and EV chargers, plus service mains and metering done in-house. Long Jetty began as a mid-century lakeside holiday settlement, so many original fibro and weatherboard beach cottages remain, and they frequently still carry old ceramic-fuse switchboards and lack RCD safety switches on their circuits. Ongoing renovation of these post-war homes near Tuggerah Lake regularly turns up wiring that needs replacing, while aged stock commonly needs switchboard upgrades for modern appliance loads. This is a low-lying, high salt-exposure suburb at around two metres elevation, flood-prone along the foreshore during the major Tuggerah Lakes events of 2007 and 2022 and constantly exposed to salt-laden sea air, so corrosion-resistant fittings and well-protected boards make a real difference here. With the summer holiday peak drawing crowds to the peninsula, we keep older cottages and rentals safely wired for the extra demand.
