Licensed, family-run and locally owned, Electrician Lambton brings Level 2 ASP accredited electrical work to a suburb with a proud place in Newcastle's history as the first municipality lit by electric light back in 1890. Working under Lic #451348C on the Ausgrid network, fully insured and AS/NZS 3000 compliant, we handle network-level jobs like service mains, metering, consumer mains upgrades and private pole work in-house, plus switchboard upgrades, safety switches, power points, LED lighting, ceiling fans, fault-finding, smoke alarms, rewiring and EV chargers. Lambton began as a coal-mining township in 1863 and still holds many pre-1940 miners' cottages and Federation weatherboard homes along Elder Street, Howe Street and Croudace Street. Those older houses frequently run ceramic fuse switchboards that need upgrading to modern circuit breakers, and many were never retrofitted with RCD safety switches, a gap we often find during pre-purchase and renovation work.
