Electrician Lake Haven is your locally owned, family-run electrical team serving the retail and services hub of the northern Central Coast lakes. As Level 2 ASP accredited electricians on the Ausgrid network (Lic #451348C), fully insured and AS/NZS 3000 compliant, we cover general electrical, switchboard upgrades, safety switches, power points, LED lighting, ceiling fans, fault-finding, smoke alarm testing, rewiring and EV charger installation, plus service mains, metering and network connections in-house. Lake Haven was built out largely from the 1970s onward as a lakeside dormitory suburb, so brick-veneer homes on standard lots dominate, and a large share of them still run original ceramic rewireable fuse boards and lack safety switches on power and lighting circuits. Renovations and added appliances across these older homes routinely call for switchboard upgrades to meet current demand, while ageing cabling often needs partial or full rewiring to standard. Sitting in the Northern Lakes catchment around Budgewoi Lake, low-lying parts of the suburb see stormwater flooding in heavy rain, so we make sure boards and circuits near the lake fringe are properly protected. The warm, humid summers here also drive plenty of cooling load, and we size and upgrade boards to carry it safely.
