About Buanternet

BuanterNet is the fiber optic internet service of PT Dwi Tunggal Putra (DTP), a telecommunications service provider established in 1974 according to the company profile. It is offered to business and office customers and is available in two forms, Dedicated Internet Access and Broadband Internet Access. Dedicated Internet Access is described by the company as a non-stop, 24-hour service. The company profile specifies a 1:1 access bandwidth ratio for this service and lists bandwidth monitoring through MRTG. Broadband Internet Access is a 24-hour internet service delivered over fiber optic. Both forms are aimed at organizations that need an internet connection for their offices, and they differ in the features the company lists for each. The company lists BuanterNet points of presence in several cities across Java, including the Jakarta area. Coverage at a specific address can be confirmed with the vendor. BuanterNet is one of several services from DTP. Other DTP offerings are listed separately and have their own features, so the details in this description apply to BuanterNet only. DTP describes its work as focused on VSAT based communications integrated with datacenter services, while BuanterNet is its fiber based internet offering for business and office use.
