Barrister is a Ft. Washington located firm of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professionals serving the Philadelphia, PA Metro area, delivering individuals, companies, and non-profits with fee-based financial planning, asset management, insurance, and employee benefit solutions. Barrister was founded in 2010 by Charles C. Weeks Jr. because he believed the public was not being adequately served by the larger brokerage firms, and he felt a more focused structure and planning-based approach was necessary. His vision was to create a professional services firm where advisors are all CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioners, acting as fiduciaries and delivering financial planning, investment, and insurance advisory services while always putting their clients' best interest.
